Meagan Schwall- Event Coordinator
Undergrad, Class 2011
Meagan is a third year at Davis, majoring in biological sciences. She lives in Pleasant Grove, CA. She has been around horses all her life. When Meagan was younger, she would help her Papa train bird dogs, and would even run dogs at field trials. In high school, Meagan was very active in FFA, and had a state Champion Scrapbook.
Meagan was very involved in high school rodeo. She competed for district 3, and also put together the newsletter. She competed in barrels, poles, and goats, on her horse Licorice. Meagan made it to Challenge of Champions her senior year for barrel racing. Her horse was badly injured right before Challenge, so she didn't get to compete on him. He was out for the rest of the season (about 3 months), which dropped her 3 spots to 6th place, just missing state finals! Meagan currently competes in barrel racing for CCPRA.
Meagan has 3 younger brothers, and is really into scrapbooking. She likes to go shooting, and loves her little dog! (She’s half Queensland heeler, half Jack Russell!)
